Miller Homes Midlands is investing over £580k into the local community as part of its latest development in Gloucester.
Prior to work starting at the new 90-property Scholars Place development off Estcourt Road, the leading housebuilder’s contribution will be used to support a number of local initiatives. This includes a £345,000 boost to education facilities in the area, including at both Bidford Primary School and Willow Tree Nursery.
Miller Homes is also investing over £160,000 into local healthcare services, with a further £75,000 pledged towards road maintenance and transport links in the region, including building of a brand-new bus stop for residents close to the roundabout off Waterloo Road.
These will be supported by an additional £4,000 donation, which will help improve the stock of books at Bidford on Avon Community Library.
Alastair Parsons, area sales director for Miller Homes Midlands explained the importance of investing in local communities:
“We’re always incredibly proud to be able to invest in the local areas where we build new homes, and we’re confident our contribution will help an already thriving community flourish.
“Gloucestershire is recognised as one of most desirable places to live in the UK, and I’d encourage all prospective homeowners to register their interest quickly to avoid missing out on their dream new home in the area.”
Miller Homes has been awarded a five-star rating in the Home Builders Federation (HBF) National Home Builders Federation New Home Customer Satisfaction Survey.
