KEEP THE KIDS ENTERTAINED THIS EASTER WITH THE PECULIAR & PREPOSTEROUS PIE COMPETITION

Vale of Mowbray has launched The Peculiar & Preposterous Pie Competition, calling for budding young chefs and inventors alike to showcase their creativity and design the most scrumptious and wonderful pies. Perfect for keeping kids entertained this Easter break!

Young inventors aged between 5 – 16 can enter by creating their very own pie fillings and submitting their entry via the Vale of Mowbray website, there is also a handy downloadable PDF template that can be viewed here.

Entries will go to a public vote before the finalists are judged by a stellar line up of chefs including Michelin Star holder Michael Wignall and top food writer Elaine Lemm! Winners will be in with the chance to get their hands on a bundle of prizes from OXO and Russell Hobbs worth £120, a virtual pie making masterclass for their school, a hamper of Vale of Mowbray goodies and 100 of their pie created by Vale of Mowbray to share with friends and family!
