THE final phase of new Edenstone homes at St Mary’s Garden Village in Ross-on-Wye is now on sale.
Launched in summer 2019, the new community has blossomed into a vibrant new neighbourhood.
Edenstone Group operations director Chris Edge said: “St Mary’s Garden Village is a sustainable new community featuring a good mix of homes to cater for local need, alongside facilities for residents to enjoy. We’ve been building and selling homes here for more than four years and in that time the site has been completely transformed. Across the development we’ve created a wide selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes and welcomed dozens of homeowners including first time buyers, families and downsizers. The final countdown is well underway with less than 20 homes available. We’ve sold out some house types, including all of the bungalows, but there’s still a good choice of three and four-bedroom energy efficient new homes available. We even have homes ready to move into, meaning buyers could save on their energy bills this winter and complete the purchase before changes to stamp duty come into effect.”
Prices at St Mary’s Garden Village start from £275,000 for a three-bedroom semi-detached Ashford.
A three-bedroom semi-detached Alveston with south facing garden is ready to move into from £289,995 with flooring throughout and turfed garden.
A four-bedroom detached Croft is also ready to move into, with flooring throughout and turfed garden, from £350,000.
Edenstone’s homes are already some of the most energy efficient available, but some properties at St Mary’s Garden Village include additional roof and floor insultation, plus solar panels, helping them achieve A ratings for energy efficiency.
There’s an abundance of open space across the 23-hectare site for residents to enjoy including allotments, a kick about area; formal garden and play area, plus walking and fitness trails with equipment. A viewing platform overlooking the pond has been created with a direct view to St Mary’s Church.
A net-zero community hub, designed to generate more renewable energy than it consumes includes a kitchen, utility, gym, three toilets, and open space for various groups to utilise.
As a responsible homebuilder, Edenstone has invested more than £2 million in the surrounding area. Financial contributions agreed during the planning process include £1,396,000 towards pre-school and primary education; £435,000 for a bus service and other transport measures; £143,000 for sports facilities and £15,000 for recycling.
The show homes and sales centre at St Mary’s Garden Village are open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm. They will be closed from December 20 0 January 2. For more information see https://edenstonehomes.com/developments/st-marys-garden-village-ross-on-wye.
