- New Octopus Energy integration allows Andersen customers to utilise dedicated smart charging tariff - Intelligent Octopus Go.
- Andersen is offering 5,000 miles of free charging* until 31 December 2025 with the purchase of new Andersen units when they are connected to Intelligent Octopus Go.
- Andersen customers will benefit from electricity rates as low as £0.07/kWh, saving EV motorists hundreds of pounds each year.
Andersen, the UK’s premium design-led electric vehicle (EV) charge point brand, has integrated with Octopus Energy’s smart EV tariff Intelligent Octopus Go to provide its customers with super-low smart charging rates from as little as £0.07 per kilowatt hour (kWh).
To mark the partnership, new Andersen customers will receive 5,000 miles of free charging1 with the UK’s most popular EV tariff. The launch offer is valid from now to 31 December 2025.2
Intelligent Octopus Go is also now available to many existing Andersen customers, who simply need to plug in their EV to their charger and confirm the amount of charge required.
The cost-effective tariff integration enables charging to be automatically scheduled for a time when energy is cheapest and greenest. An EV user driving 10,000 miles each year could save up to £585 by switching from a standard tariff to Intelligent Octopus Go.3
David Martell, Andersen’s Chief Executive, says: “This marks a new milestone to further offer Andersen customers access to low-cost energy tariffs and choice across UK energy providers. Intelligent Octopus Go is the UK’s most popular EV tariff and integration has been a key target at Andersen for some time. We’re delighted to confirm that we now offer this intelligent charging tariff.”
Intelligent Octopus Go is integrated throughout Andersen’s customisable, premium product range, which is designed, engineered and hand-built in Bedfordshire. This includes the award-winning A3 and A2, which feature the brand’s hidden tethered charging cable – a unique design.
Alongside is the compact Andersen Quartz, which offers socketed or tethered configurations, and the newest Andersen Quartz Vision, featuring a digital display for at-a-glance charging information. Each product offers hundreds of colour and finish combinations, allowing customers to match their charger to their home, vehicle or lifestyle.
Intelligent Octopus Go now works with all Andersen Quartz models, all Andersen A3 models and all Andersen A2 single phase models sold since August 2023.
Andersen products are shipped in one to two days, with installation lead times of between two and three weeks. All come with a market-leading seven-year warranty and are supported by Andersen’s Concierge Service that provides unrivalled customer support.

1 Eligible customers purchasing an Andersen EV charge point directly from Andersen EV will receive a credit of £106.05 (equivalent to the cost of 5,000 electric vehicle miles), applied to their Octopus Energy account when on the Intelligent Octopus Go tariff. This value is based on information provided by Octopus Energy and represents an estimated 5,000 electric vehicle miles, calculated using: Average EV efficiency: 0.303 kWh per mile (source: EV Database – https://ev-database.org/uk/cheatsheet/energy-consumption-electric-car) and Off-peak charging rate: £0.07 per kWh (Intelligent Octopus Go, at the time of publishing). The calculation is illustrative only and for guidance purposes only. Actual mileage achieved will vary depending on vehicle efficiency, driving style, charging behaviour, and tariff changes.
2 Terms and conditions apply. Offer applies to all Andersen Quartz, Andersen A3 and Andersen A2 single phase models since August 2023, with the exception of the three-phase Andersen A2.
