Two leading West-Midlands’ female entrepreneurs are to join a prestigious line-up of speakers at an event next month aimed at supporting women to ‘BE’.
Tonia Daley-Campbell, an actress, author, and director, along with award-winning Executive Coach Nicky Lowe will be taking part in the Female Empowerment Convention on the 8th February which has been created to help women everywhere navigate the challenges of the modern-day world, as well as raise much-needed funds for a local women’s charity.
Taking place virtually, the one-day event will see Tonia, Nicky and fellow speakers share their expertise and insights on a range of subjects including resilience and leadership, finding purpose, embracing fears, and enhancing self-esteem – with all monies raised going towards funding the work of The Haven Wolverhampton, a charity dedicated to supporting women and children in refuge.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining such a fantastic line-up of extraordinary women” explained Tonia. “As women, we’re conditioned right from birth to believe that we can’t do things and as a result fear and imposter syndrome impact us greatly – across our careers, health, and relationships. I’ll be talking to attendees about why we need to approach this fear head on and use it positively as fuel to help us move forward.”
Nicky said: “Women continue to be the core flex point at home, in business, and within their families – and this sees their resilience stretched to the limit time and time again, with no real respite. The pandemic of the last two years has well and truly taken its toll, and we’re exhausted, overwhelmed and burdened. My focus on the day will be sharing how we can look to successfully reclaim and maintain our resilience to ensure we’re in a strong position to navigate the next 12 months (and beyond.)”
