Housing developer Mulberry Homes has donated £500 to Temple Herdewyke Primary School.

The donation will go towards improving the school’s playground and help to fund an ongoing project to install an outdoor gym.

Mulberry Homes is building a collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes in the village at its The Templars development, which is located directly opposite the primary school on Falkland Place.

Maggie Godfrey, Headteacher at Temple Herdewyke Primary School, said: “We are really thrilled with this generous donation of £500 from Mulberry Homes. We currently have a fund raising project to install an outdoor gym and this will be a much needed boost to this project.”

Kerry Jones, Sales and Marketing Director at Mulberry Homes, said: “We are delighted to have made this contribution to Temple Herdewyke Primary School, which will help to improve their playground and provide the schoolchildren with a wonderful place to play in between lessons.

“At Mulberry Homes, it is a huge part of our ethos to support the communities local to where we build our new homes, and that’s why we’re thrilled to be building a wonderful relationship with the nearby school by contributing £500 to their outdoor gym project.

“The Templars is our first development in Warwickshire, and we’re looking forward to continuing to support local groups and organisations across the region throughout the development’s lifecycle.”

Currently available at The Templars are a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes, priced from £239,950 to £414,950.

The Templars is open via appointment only. For more information on the homes available and to book your appointment, call the sales team on 0333 121 1080 or visit https://mulberryhomes.co.uk/developments/the-templars/overview/.

This year, Mulberry Homes is celebrating its 10th anniversary. To honour the occasion, the housebuilder is running a campaign in which each month it is donating £1000 to a different local charity or public organisation nearby to its developments. This follows the success of its Distinctly Local initiative, in which Mulberry Homes contributed over £10,000 to local charities and businesses throughout 2020.
